“From Neurons to Nirvana: The Great Medicines,” a film on the current renaissance in scientific research on psychedelic substances as medicines, will be screened Tuesday in Honokaa.
“From Neurons to Nirvana: The Great Medicines” was selected for the Seattle International Film Festival, The Vancouver International Film Festival, and The Montreal Nouveau Cinema Festival. It has screened to packed houses in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, and London. This presentation will mark its Big Island premiere.
The documentary, which will be followed by a Q&A session with the film’s director, will be played at 7 p.m. at Honokaa People’s Theatre. Cost is $6.
